The Heartbreak
Heartbreak is a metaphor for intense emotional stress or pain one feels due to a great loss or deep longing. Unfortunately it is a common part of the human experience, and it really, really sucks. We've all been there at one point or the other in our lives and it's easier to say that we wish never to experience again. When a heartbreak gets extreme, it tends to create a sustained kind of stress which amounts to trauma that can be severe enough to leave an emotional imprint on an individual's psychophysical functioning and didactic enough to make them learn, grow stronger and move on. Though it will no doubt take a lot of time.
